Hey Friend, What Do You Need?
I wasn't looking. Something happened. I wrote posts, titled them, and then themes showed up. I noticed I was writing about relationship (to God, self, and others) and story (posts that held my own stories and gently encouraged you to embrace and engage your own).
If it's a theme and this space is going to be known for it, let's call it out. I’ve mentioned my Captain Obvious nature more than once!
I put on different "hats" when I sit down to the keyboard. I’m a storyteller, a teacher, a coach on the sidelines, and a very ordinary person thinking about life, faith, and relationship. Not surprising, I suppose. You’d have to ask my friends.
I'm perfectly aware I won't have answers to everything (Goodness, no!), but I'm really curious—what is it that you, reader, find to be a challenge in your faith, relationships, or stories? What does our little community at this blog most need? What should we be talking about? Inquiring minds want to know. (I definitely do!)
If you'll take a few seconds to share, I promise I will read it. I'll read each and every one and try to respond personally. I may share in your struggle, or I may think about ways I can offer support or encouragement. You'll be heard (uh, read!), and I'll respond.
Are you willing?
Comment below or send a quick e-mail—whatever makes you feel comfortable. I want to hear what's on your mind and heart. I want to know what makes you as a reader think or pause.
